Byron,

Here's my second entry.

This is a '54 Chevy 5 window. The cab is an F&F Resin's resin piece, with the box and frame coming from the AMT '50 Chevy kit. I used the front straight axle and suspension from the Revel '41 Willys pickup kit on the front. The rear-end is a 12 bolt Chevy from the Revel '66 El Camino. I used Detail Master disk brakes all the way around. The engine is the 392 Hemi from the Miss Deal kit with scratch built aluminum fender headers. Added fuel, water, and ignition wiring, as well as throttle linkage. The traction bars are resin pieces from a friend of mine, as are the Centerline wheels. Paint is Krylon flat black with decals from the Monogram '39 Chevy delivery (Left over from the Willys delivery project). The tonneau cover is Evergreen sheet styrene sprayed with Testors flat red. While the paint was still tacky I pressed a piece of fine weave cloth into it to give it a canvas texture.

Thanks again for hosting this. Can't tell you how much it's appreciated!!
