Ken Kull's Hill Bros. '33 Willys

Hello Byron,
Enclosed are some pictures of the restored Hills Bros. 33 Willys. Many of us saw and photographed this car at St Louis in '99. After that event, the car was sold to a family in Southeastern PA. Since that purchase, they have completely restored the car to its original racing condition. I have seen the car in person and must say they did an excellent job of preserving and restoring it as it was in the late 60's early 70's. They have a pretty good history of the car and documentation of it and its racing career. I assisted Ken the owner, with the help of Gordon Crowe, in getting in touch with Chuck Finders who built the car. They both seemed very pleased with meeting and talking to each other about the car. Ken intends to make some minor changes to the roll cage etc. in order to certify the chassis and do some racing with it.

This car is beautifully restored and is pretty much a show piece. And if that wasn't enough, it runs and sounds EXTREMELY healthy.

I just felt this car should be shared with all the Gasser Fans and this was the place to do it. Thanks, Ed Kuhn.

I received the following photos on 15 October 2001 from David Milcarek.  They were taken the weekend on 13-14 October 2001 at Atco, NJ.  Ken...Nice job on the car, it looks awesome!  Dave ...great photos.  Thanks for sharing them with us.
