Gasser Madness! ~ Dale Kraemer's 32 Austin Bantam

No title it will need one to drive on the street !!What you are looking at is a 1932 Austin Bantam with a 270 Dodge hemi. The shortblock was rebuilt in 1982. It is a good start to a fabulous "Rat Rod" . It has a 904 automatic trans with a Dana 44 posi rear with 3:73 gears. Like I say, It is a solid rat rod with swap meet parts and speedway street rod parts. Now for the specifics. The front end is a complete mustang II rack and a-arms with Monroe shocks with the new disc brakes and new rotors are bought on ebay with Mopar 41/2 pattern. The tranny is a 1970 Dodge dart 904 that has very low miles with a B&M mega shifter that should be slightly adjusted. The drive shaft is a 18 inch with new u-joints from a postal jeep. The rearend is a 1969 postal jeep posi Dana 44 with 3:73 gears and it is in very good shape but I think that the drivers side outer seal may have to be replaced and it has wheel adapters that fit Chevy 43/4 pattern. The rear suspension is a single "Like" ladder bars with springs and shocks suspension. the interior was carpeted with a store bought auto black carpet. The bench seat is a Chevy S-10 back seat. The gauges are a set of store gauges that I would replace with a nice set of street rod gauges. The steering column is a 1970 Chevelle tilt with Speedway joints and shaft. The Hemi is a 1954 Dodge truck 270 that was a long ago Gopher rebuild because the block was green and the heads were silver. The motor runs good with the Holley 4412 2 barrel 500 cfm. The motor has the small block Chevy water pump with the hotheads adapters. It also has the Mopar electronic dis. with the orange box. It also has factory chrome valve covers, flex fan, and home made roadster headers with mufflers. The body is fiberglass from MAS that is located here in MN. The grill shell is also from MAS and is a T shell with a 1968 barracuda radiator. The wheels are pro stars from Weld. The tires in the front should be replaced and they are I believe 15 x 4.5 inches wide. The back ones are I think 15 x 10 rims and the back tires are new.. The car runs good, fast, straight, and smooth. Doors are not functional. I would take $5500.00 for the car or 4500.00 for the car less motor and tranny but you will then have to take responsibility for the title. .
