~ Jr. Patrick's '37 English Ford Tourer ~

(Anglia Roadster!!)

~ SOLD ~

1937 English Ford 7W "Ten" Tourer

One of 1639 produced with only around 27 known to exist today.

The previous owner imported it from South Africa.

OK guys, this one is for the those who really want to own the rare ones. Ford of England produced 1639 7W Tourers in 1937 and 1938. This is not the same body style as the Australian Tourers. This one is much different and a lot more rare. I have heard of one other body like this in the US. I am by no means an expert but talked with several people over the years and found a good bit of information from the Ford Popular and the Small Sidevalves book by Dave Turner.

The car is very solid and has no rust through that I can find. The fenders on the car are not the correct ones. The Tourers originally came with unbeaded versions. I have the rear unbeaded ones that came off the car and the buyer has their choice of rears that come with the car. What you see in the pictures are what I have. The original dash had been cut out of the car when I bought it and I finally found one to replace it. It will need to be welded back in to be correct. Someone had also put an Anglia script on the trunk at some time. These cars had a "10" badge in the grill. They were not Anglia's. A lot of Anglia parts will interchange also.
This very rare car would surely be the talk of the show restored to original condition or street rodded.

It is mostly complete but still lacking a few items listed below that I know of.
Side curtains

Lower steering column drop cap

Headlight lenses and rings.

Grill stainless trim inserts

Hood side stainless

Inside door latches (MGTD are real close replacements and are available reproduction)

Some trades considered (up/down) are a 1967-69 RS/SS Camaro, 1962 or 1966 Corvette or a 40 Willys coupe. Any leads on a good solid 40 Willys coupe are appreciated.
I have other English Ford / Anglia parts also.

SOLD

Okay...so it really isn't an Anglia Roadster...but it would make one bitchin' street rod! (Byron)
