Charlie Gilmore's Junior Thompson Opel Kadett

I have recently completed the restoration of Jr. Thompson's Opel Kadet. Unfortunately, due to repercussions following the loss of our home and contents due to fire, I find I have to sell the car. It us ready to run with everything fresh and new. The engine is a 470ci early Hemi with a new, polished 671 Teflon tipped blower, chrome plated fourport Hilborn injectors with chrome scoop, ported polished heads with oversized stainless steel valves, Isky cam and complete valve train, (Jrs. special grind) 12 1/2 to 1 Venolia pistons, aluminum Rods, Cast aluminum Jr Thompson valve covers, custom headers by Tinnys' Hotrodz, custom built aluminum pan. The car is equipped with a Racing powerglide built by Rocky Pirrone. It is set up to run alky and has no cooling system.  The interior has been replicated by Kowolski Kustom in Reading Pa. and is an exact copy of the original done to NHRA specs. The chassis is certified for 7.50. The front and rear axles and suspension have been rechromed as they were originally. The body has been restored to '68 standards, repainted and lettered just as it was when it was run by Jr.
