Historic car originally built and raced by Rocky Childs from Childs and Albert, and Ronny Winkle from the Winkle and Trapp top fuel dragster. Campaigned in the early 60s by Rocky Childs and Ronny Winkle. The car ran C/Gas until the motor was pulled and put into the Addict dragster, then the car was loaned to KS Pittman where the car received a new small block and ran A/Gas. Car was authenticated by Rocky Childs at the 2007 CHRR. The car can also be seen in the Don Montgomery's encyclopedia of gassers. Currently runs nostalgia races.
355ci, Small block Chevrolet with a tunnel ram and two 660s. flat tappet cam shaft, 11:1 2.02 angle plug bowtie heads. Turbo 400 with trans brake. 4500 stall conv. 9” ford rear end, with a spool and 31 spline axles. Ladder bars, roll cage. Car can be driven daily.
