  Jim Godec's "Warlock" 37 Chevy grabbed the #1 spot with a 7.610  
  Jimmy White's 7.618 was good for #2 in his 63 Corvette  
  Andy Heimstra, driving the Valley Head Service 57 Chevy clocked a 7.625 for the #3 position  
  Jim Ferren's 7.630 put his 67 Nova in at #4  
  A 7.632 put Mike Ford's 57 Chevy in the #5 spot  
  # 6 qualifier, with a 7.650 was  Dave Matson in his 67 Camaro  
  Mike Doushgounian's 67 Nova was in #7 after posting a 7.652  
  Rob Patten's 63 Corvette finished out the top 8 with a 7.660  
  Terry Newton's 63 Studebaker grabbed # 9 with a 7.683  
  In at # 10, Bruce Sanders drove the 68 Camaro to a 7.685  
  Chris Beanes cool 51 Henry J ran a 7.704 to slip in at # 11  
  Ken Ratzloff's 53 Studebaker put down a 7.705 for the # 12 slot  
  The 67 Nova of Brad Chaffee took # 13 with a 7.713  
  Mike Ward in the 33 Willys Panel ran a 7.738 for # 14  
  Irv Helms laid down a 7.776 with his 63 Corvette for # 15  
  Rick Logsdon's 55 Chevy locked up the # 16 spot with a 7.832
